Welcome to the Genealogy and Local History department of the Chattahoochee Valley Libraries. Our mission is to preserve and make accessible unique and significant books, manuscripts, and artifacts of a genealogical and historical nature.

Our collection strengths include collections of genealogy and local history materials relating to the Greater Chattahoochee Valley Area. As part of our mission, we deliver presentations, teach classes, construct exhibitions, and assist researchers with inquiries relating to our collections.
